Strawberries are packed with vitamin C, which will relax and soothe the swelling of eyes. Other antioxidants present in strawberries help protect your eyes from age related diseases, prevent eye dryness, vision defects and macular degeneration.

A Harvard Medical School Study published in 2013, found that strawberries are particularly rich in chemical compounds called anthocyanins. Research suggests that anthocyanins have several effects on the body. They lower blood pressure, and they make blood vessels more elastic.
Strawberries are also rich in folate (a B vitamin - folic acid is a synthetic form of folate), fibre and an array of phytochemicals.
What can we say....they're SUPERBERRIES!
